Bruce Taylor has over 25 years of experience in the Electrical Construction Industry. He spent 7 years with APCO in Power Generation and Line Construction and served as Job Manager from 1996-1999, Estimator from 1999-2001, Project Manager from 2001-2007 and Vice President from 2007-2013. As of November 2013, Bruce serves as President of Marathon Electrical Contractors, LLC. He has worked on many major projects including Government and Industrial facilities. He also holds many State Electrical Contractors Licenses such as, Alabama, Texas, Louisiana, Virginia and Mississippi along with Master Electrician Certificates for Birmingham, Huntsville, Montgomery, and Jefferson County, Alabama. Mr. Taylor has been with the company since 1996.
Executive Vice President
Mark Harry has over 30 years of experience in the Electrical Construction Industry. He graduated from The University of Alabama in 1986 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He spent 12 years with Ray Engineering Group as a Design Engineer from 1987-2000 and joined Marathon in 2000. Mark has worked on many major projects with Marathon, including Benjamin Russell Children’s Hospital and St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham, AL.
Vice President of Operations
Chris McGregor has over 15 years experience in the Construction Industry including prior experience in the General Contracting Construction Industry for 6 years. He has worked on many major projects including Government, Commercial, Condos and Medical Facilities. Throughout the fifteen years experience in the Construction field, he was employed at Halstead Contractors, Inc. in Montgomery, Alabama as Superintendent from 1999-2000. Chris was also employed at BL Harbert International, LLC as Assistant Project Manager from 2000-2005. Currently Chris is employed at Marathon Electrical Contractors, LLC and served as a Project Manager from 2005-2009 and now serves as Vice President of Operations. He attended Auburn University and received a B.S. in Architecture, Design, and Construction with a concentration in Building Science in 1999.
Vice President of Construction
Mark Bounds has over 24 years of experience in the Construction Industry. He graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering and from The University of West Florida in 2000 with a Master of Business Administration. He spent 16 years with B.L. Harbert International as a Senior Project Manager and joined Marathon in 2012. Mark has managed and specialized in Industrial, Governmental, Military, Healthcare, Commercial, Mission Critical and Institutional contracts in both general contracting and electrical construction projects throughout the southeastern United States.
Vice President of Construction
Mark McGraw has 20 years of Construction and Engineering experience. During college, and after graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Building Science from Auburn University in 2002, Mark worked as Project manager and Sr. Project Manager for industry leading General Contractors. In 2012 Mark joined Marathon electrical and is now Vice President. Mr. McGraw has managed Commercial, Government, Healthcare, Industrial, and Data Center contracts across the Southeast.
Chief Financial Officer
Brad Sandidge is a licensed CPA with 25+ years of experience serving commercial real estate and development. His past experience includes CFO of Colonial Properties Trust and Graham Commercial Properties as well as earlier positions with Deloitte & Touche and Goldman Sachs.
